17. GARMIN INTERACTION
If you choose to connect your Garmin account, AscendTrail integrates with Garmin. Connect solely to send your planned training sessions to your Garmin Connect calendar, so they appear on your Garmin device.
Garmin data we collect and store: the Garmin authorization tokens issued when you connect, and your Garmin account identifier. These are used only to maintain the connection and to create, update, and remove the workouts we send on your behalf.
Garmin data we do not collect: we do not read or import any of your Garmin activity, fitness, health, location, or wellness data.
How it is processed and shared: Garmin data is processed only by AscendTrail to provide this feature. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or sent to any third-party or artificial-intelligence/data-processing service.
Retention and removal: you can disconnect Garmin at any time in the app, or revoke access from your Garmin account. On disconnection or deregistration we delete the stored Garmin tokens and remove the workouts we created in your Garmin Connect calendar.
We will not change how Garmin data is used without updating this policy and obtaining Garmin's prior written approval.
